Some of you might have noticed that the collaboration with Motorsportschool Holland has been stopped. Both parties agreed on the stop that the clients wouldn’t In any case be set back in this situation.
We just received information from Circuit Assen that Peter den Heyer (Motorsportschool Holland) wants to have a different organisation of the track-days on 8th and 9th may.
In fact this means that he doesn’t want to have races on those days.
We insisted on clarification in more than 10 mails to him, without any reply whatsoever.
All this is very bad news and we don’t want to take the risk that more than 60 teams take a ride of more than 600 km and then hear that they cannot ride.
We have no other option than to cancel the races on 8th May (90’s Endurance Cup – Twin Cup) and 9th May (Club MET and No Budget Cup). We are looking for alternatives at this moment and we’ll keep you posted as soon we have news.
We noticed that a lot of you have booked a track-day as a training for the race. We decided to refund EVERYONE for this track-day. You’ll find the refund on your bank account from next week.
In 21 years we never had to cancel a race and we surely regret this situation but we think it is the only right decision.
We all hope you can understand the difficult decision we had to make
